This addition project was designed as a ranch-style pool house above a garage, opening the one-bedroom, one-bathroom cottage directly onto the pool deck to create a dual-use guest house. Vaulted ceilings and interior clerestory windows carry the light between the living room and bedroom, from the sweeping bi-fold living room doors overlooking the pool all the way to the serene window seat. When guests are away, the Murphy bed retreats to transform the bedroom into a quiet home yoga studio.
