We’ve done dozens of projects over the years with a similar scope as this Oakland lift. This house was raised one story up and a new finished level was built below. It’s a great way to create another unit in the lower level or double the square footage of a home. We are usually replacing the foundation and doing a full seismic upgrade on the whole building, as we did here.
