This 5-story wood-framed multi-family project is just south of campus in downtown Berkeley. The 13-unit wood-framed building is of type 3B construction with all the fun complexities of fire-rated structural detailing. The project also consisted of a historic building on the lot that was brought up to current seismic code and relocated on the site to fit the larger building. Construction started in the fall of 2024.
